Osamu Tezuka is known as the God of Manga in Japan, basically their Walt Disney. He was a master of comics and animation and is a HUGE influence of mine. In October of 2009 his most famous creation is slated to hit the big screen. Astro Boy is a CG movie being done by IMAGI, the same company that brought us TMNT in 2007. This animation company rules! They seem to be doing all my favorite properties… Ninja Turtles, Astro Boy, and in 2010, Gatchaman! There will be exclusive footage shown at the New York Comic Con, but for now enjoy this teaser!
