Many years ago, in the late 1990s, my first venture into webcomics was The O>Matics In Comic. It was a comic strip about my band and their adventures on and off stage. You can visit the O>Matics project page to view several of the quickly, crudely drawn strips. For years I wanted to return to the comic strip genre and the O>Matics. I had a certain look that I could only visualize in my mind and no matter how hard I tried, I could never create what I saw in my mind’s eye… until now. I’ve been exploring photoshop more and more, trying different methods and styles for creating comics, and I happily found the fit for the O>Matics. So now, you can return here every Wednesday to MyPalMark.com for new rockin’ strips of O>Matics: Rock & Read!

As a Homeowner there is always something that needs to be done, like Picking up a chair from the front stairs.
It’s been a long while since I have been able to keep up a steady schedule of creating comics and updating the website. My wife and I bought a house in February and that has taken up most of my time. Being a homeowner is a lot of work, especially in the first months, but it’s quite rewarding. It’s nice to have a place that you can call your own. It teaches you responsibility and sacrifice. There is no landlord to turn to when something goes wrong in your house, it’s up to you to figure it out. You care more about cleaning and tidying up your room because you are paying that hefty monthly mortgage. I haven’t played video games, or watched my normal dosage of cartoons in a long time, and I’m okay with that. It always seems like there is something more important that I need to tend to. I know, it sounds like I’m becoming an adult… Good thing I have those Ninja Turtles and He-Man curtains in my office to keep me grounded.
I’ll have a video tour of my Creative studio real soon!
