The Turkey is all digested. Now it’s time to start thinking of Christmas! The number one thing on my list this year is the complete collection of Calvin and Hobbes. I wasn’t a fan of it as a kid and I’m not sure why. It is the perfect comic strip. My next project is “The O>Matics Rockin’ Comic,” which is a comic strip. It was originally going to be about kid versions of the O>Matics. They were going to use their imaginations to make wild situations from boring everyday life. I researched many comic strips and found a ton of my ideas were already done in Calvin and Hobbes. So I tweaked the O>Matics’ strip and became a HUGE fan of Calvin and Hobbes! I read it everyday online through gocomics.com, but I’ve got to have the complete collection!
Wow, this post reminds me of “A Christmas Story’ and Ralphie’s paper on why he wants an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time… Hopefully I won’t shoot my eye out.
